2022 Scholarship Awards | The Woman's Club of St. Matthews

The Woman’s Club of St. Matthews held it’s Scholarship Program at the Nunnlea House where $21,000 in scholarships were awarded this year.

Scholarship recipients and their families were invited to an awards presentations, followed by a short reception with an opportunity to enjoy some light refreshments together. Clubwomen took time to speak individually with each recipient to congratulate them, as well as their families who have supported them through their years of education.

Each high school recipient was awarded a scholarship of $ 3,500 as follows:

Ballard High School – Ellen Hixenbaugh – attending University of North Florida
Sacred Heart Academy – Grace Jarboe – attending the University of Chicago
Sacred Heart Academy – Caroline Elliott – attending UCLA
Trinity High School – Michael Lynch – attending Montana State University
Trinity High School – Kieran Heintz – attending Western Kentucky University
Walden School – Sarah Hassan

Only Grace, Caroline and Kieran with their families were able to attend. Since Sarah was ill, Brad Kimbrough, Director of Academic & College Counseling at Walden, attended in her place.

There were no adult applications in 2022.
