St. Matthews Police Department K-9 Officer Wayne Kaufman gave a program to the Woman’s Club of St. Matthews, along with his K-9 companion dog Maxie, and spoke about detection of illegal narcotics and how Maxie has proved to be an asset to the department.
Officer Kaufman hid some drugs in the room, before bringing Maxie into the program, and demonstrated how Maxie locates hidden drugs during searches.
