The Kentucky General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC KY) was founded in 1894 and is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, an international organization dedicated to community improvement through volunteer service.
GFWC Kentucky is composed of over 1,097 members in 68 Clubs across the state. This diverse organization unites women of all ages and backgrounds to build better neighborhoods and improve their communities and themselves through various service programs and projects.
Each Spring a conference is held at a location in Kentucky where clubwomen unite together to hear from GFWC State and International officers, network, learn of new and upcoming projects and participate in arts, crafts and photography contests. First place winners in the photography contest move forward to participate in the International GFWC conference contest.
