WaterStep is a non-government organization based in Louisville, Kentucky, that focuses on sustainable solutions to the world’s WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) crisis. WaterStep provides comprehensive, end-to-end support from project conception through long-term sustainability based on the proprietary technology we develop and manufacture at the Louisville headquarters. WaterStep provides expert solutions for places where infrastructure is fragile and execution challenges are particularly difficult, especially in slums, rural villages, and in communities responding to natural and manmade disasters. It’s Kentucky ingenuity, Kentucky brainpower, and Kentucky manpower in service of all mankind.
The members all gathered with bags of shoes to donate. WaterStep funds clean water projects with used shoes. There were three speakers and then we sorted shoes.
