Cassie Russell-Dossett was our Arts and Culture speaker. She is a personal friend of our President and her husband.

Cassie was born in Lexington and raised in Louisville.  She has a gallery called “House of Bleu” located in the Highlands.  Cassie shared many stories of her life and how she started painting horses at the age of four.  Her parents grew up with horses but they would never get one for her.

Cassie painted Governor Andy Beshear’s 2022 Governor’s Derby Celebration poster.
