In April 2019, the St. Matthews Eline Library held a dedication ceremony for the reopening of the library after a nine million dollar renovation and expansion. The STM Library is a branch of the Louisville Public Library System and the systems busiest in patron visitors. As it happens, WCSM was instrumental in the original creation of this library branch back in the 1930’s. In recognition of our club’s history with this library, WCSM contributed to the library $1,000 to be used towards items for the children’s area. Education and investing in children, is very important to our clubwomen.
