GFWC 2018 Southeastern Region Conference,(SER), held November 1st thru 3rd in Winston Salem, North Carolina, and was hosted by GFWC North Carolina. The GFWC theme was ‘Living the Volunteer Spirit” while the SER theme was “Reaching Across The Region”.
States included in the GFWC Southeastern Region are; Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee and the District of Columbia.
Many GFWC-KY clubwoman attended the SER Conference, representative of numerous clubs throughout the state, including Woman’s Club of St. Matthews clubwoman and GFWC-KY President Elect, Teresa Schmidt.
The purpose of the Region shall be to promote a better understanding of the structure, program, and challenge of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.
