The General Federation of Women’s Clubs Kentucky (GFWC KY) consists of nine districts throughout the state. Each fall these individual districts hold a district conference were all federated clubs within the particular district meet. At these conferences, clubs share happenings within their particular clubs, network with district club members, receive information from state officers, and participate in an arts, crafts and photography contest.
The Woman’s Club of St. Matthews is located in the designated 3rd District, which is bound by Jefferson County. The 3rd District consists of 6 federated clubs.
Annual Fall Conference for the Third District in Kentucky was held on Halloween therefore several ladies attending wore costumes which added to the fun!
